...don't ya know...of all her self-portraits (much of her art is self image) this doll is the most like carole jean...it was my favorite and was badly damaged in the sowebo fire back in '07....she kept it in it's charred form till the end....

Wireman, way back on January 7th, of this year, I sent you a message
about what a great person Carole Jean was. I, once again, am sorry
for your loss, this many months later. Perhaps you'll get the message this time...It's still back there in the archives.

The media is the message. As you know, a person expresses themselves through their art. My art is "print" and links to videos, etc.
Through speech, print, music, videos, art medium, a person may get to know a person who has been gone for centuries. Carole Jean, it seems to me, has that kind of longevity, if her material continues to be viewed.

....i still feel her.....i have my little collection of her works, wish i could buy more.....her work is still shown at fleckenstein gallery in baltimore....sorry i didn't get that message i needed it and still do...i loved that woman....she was an artist supreme....thanks for the back and forth...it's what it's all about....
