Because I thought he fell in love with her, but only taught her,
in which case she turned against his affections, this is sad.
I want them to be passionate.
I thought to make a story of the two dragons whom fight in the waters. One of them to fall in love with Merlin. In order for her to bed him, she needed to take on a human female form. She decided she'd become whatever female she noticed visiting Merlin in the tower, with her angry sisterly fights, she shook the ground he stood on until the tower came tumbling down.
The beautiful Niviane needed to see to this collapse and walked the perimeter of the tower in search of Merlin's body. This is when the dragon lifted from the waters and mirrored beautiful Niviane's form, her lovely face and even robbed her of voice.
Unbeknowst to the dragon lady, Merlin spent so much time angry within the tower walls that he had such passions for Niviane, but passion for to poison her.
The dragon could speak her own truths, her gentle spirit and treating heart, but Merlin only heard Niviane's lies.
I don't know if there were moments of love-making or were to come.

Wow ya lost me with the dragons. I'd not heard of this before. Merlin fell in love with a shapechanger? O he's even more perverse than I thought ! And he stays in his tower even after she shakes it down around him ? That's awful thick-headed for a wizard. Wouldn't find me in my ruined tower after such a display, no ma'm, I'd be in the lake with the hot shapeshifter. You speak knowledgeable about this, is it a story someone wrote? The name Niviane rings a small bell for me, but I can't place it.

Well, he stays around the tower, he's a woodsman and has become accustomed to the area, to those birds and beasts and he's the true shape-shifter more than the dragon. The dragon, whom has fallen in love with Merlin just mirrors the lady, whom she first notices the wizard's affection towards, because she needs a female form in order to be able to bed with him, but the dragon is unaware of the events and the latest passion was more Merlin's desire of revenge when Niviane (his true lover) tricked and trapped him.
Naw, I don't know much about this stuff, just a couple details and then we can weave, just a hop onto wiki and we're off. But, it's about doing it or the lack there of have being done.

Today's first thoughts...
it is very challenging to treddle this alone.
It lacks a lot of the being able to share, join
and growth outside my own small vantage, especially when I'm fond of new introduction to be entertained with. My only reach is our interactions in the writing world for in the physical world there is no one to notice anything special of.
