In fond response

I was looking back through older posts...so many great posts...and this was among so many great ones, I thought, and really was speaking to me this morning:
hester_prynne wrote:belief relief,
oh lordy,
i'm runnin shorty
on belief relief.

Whirled peas,
visualize ballard,
honk
if you believe
in jesus,
horn broken
watch for finger,
she who laughs, lasts,
real men
don't do violence,
caution:
driver singing,
bumpersticker
scat
If I sing a psalm less pastoral than David’s, please don’t damn it, God: it’s loud!
Drive and sing the clutter of the roads as bumperstickers jam it—God, it’s loud!

Like when Jesus said to love my enemies, he didn’t slam it in my face.
But he seemed to say the world needs love, so pump the volume—cram it—God, it’s loud!

Tolerate? Embrace Diversity: to tolerate’s to scam the world of love.
Hear us prune away each “Fuck you, bitch”—we’ll gentleman and ma’am it. God, it’s loud!

Join our screaming hazmat scat, our singsong keys that squeeze jazz samples into songs.
Hear the prayer whose ranges flair with noise that ploys the spectrum’s gamut. God, it’s loud!
