Across the parking lot

Post by hester_prynne » October 15th, 2010, 2:26 am

Back and forth he goes
across the parking lot.

I pretend I am a purring cat,
looking out a window.

From her apartment to his
he is crestfallen.

The other way,
he is crushingly aglow.

I take a swat at him,
hit the glass.

Lick my paw,
look for something more.

nice...
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
