her mind

Post by the mingo » June 14th, 2011, 2:30 am

too many dogs in my head
making too much noise
barking to raise hell
and it's raining bitter dogs
out there in the night
don't read anything written by
another human being 'cause
it will ruin ya and there are
people flat stupid enough to do nothing but study ruins
so don't trust anyone who
comes up to you and says
"here, look, study these ruins!"
shit, by the time anything gets written down
the life that gave birth to it has
long left the scene
and if you ain't with the life
then just what the fuck do you
think you're doing?
you might as well be a Mormon writing about
vampires with moral quirks that make you a zillion bucks
my mother didn't look a bit like
stephenie meyer but she would tell me
stories of when she could turn broomsticks into horses
with a wave of her mind
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

ppp
This made me think about a few people I met in life,
the image is I'd much rather hold a rock. Anyway, they were worth the tossing out. Yes, just like ya say about the barking dogs.
I'm glad not every individual is a... that flat stupid.

Some I want to hold hands with.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!

I'm always up for a vigorous handholding. Thx, Doll. 8)

I want your mother's mind--
the thoughts that sweep a horse into being
from the handle of a broom--
I want to live in castles and in temples and in schools
and leave their crooked columns for the ruin of another day--
I want, I lack.

I don't think you lack anything, Joel. I really don't.
