raccoon jawbone jazz

Post by the mingo » June 25th, 2011, 10:47 am

gimme some of that raccoon jawbone jazz
out where the old schoolhouse burned down
gonna dance around
find strange plants growin' beyond the ash pile
somewhere the deserts are hummin'
somewhere the women sing
I'd come here lookin'
for no particular thing
found some palestinians glad they ain't in syria
rather be with the jews in bed
cause the leader of syria
is shooting the led
& nobody is hummin' the dead
history ain't behind us
it's out ahead
saw a dog come swerving up the street
i looked in his wild eyes
knew he had someone to meet
his ears were down & his tail was up
his legs were unsteady
when the real Beast gets here
sure everything will be ready
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
