Doutwinder knew JFK. Knew
Things were going to happen,
Whispers in dark corridors, looks
In crowded rooms. He was not
Surprised when the shots were
Fired, knew top guns were hired,
The patsy put in place, the patsy
Closed down, fucked up clown.
Doutwinder knew the society
Kings, queens, bishops and other
Top dogs; knew the rookies paid
The price, the war games, arranged
Assassinations, the back stabbings,
Black ops, the secret post drops.
His wife knew nothing; thought
He worked in the city, knew the
Money was there and what it
Bought, the good food, wine,
Parties, times overseas, sunny
Beaches, cool breeze, kinky sex,
Deep down piss head complex.
Doutwinder knew dark corners,
Cold rooms, big cities, knew death,
How to kill, how to stay cool, how
To survive. JFK patted him on the
Shoulder and smiled that fateful
Day; Doutwinder nodded and smiled
In return, his hand warm, his heart
Cold, always doing his job and duty,
Doing what the hell he was told.

Re: DOUTWINDER KNEW.
We all had our brains blown out that day in Texas, both the undead and the unborn. The signs are all still there & mark everyone. Everyone still slows for that turn into the Plaza. Everyone still waves to the crowds. Jackie forever. In pink.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

I can remember that day too. I was working in a garage aged 15. Thank you for reading, the mingo.
