I am tripping more than you are. Battling razzberries

The confessions. It's all in my head. It's all in my head.

Notes from notebook to do with Moby Dick.
I am so behind on this stuff, lose track of time easily.

Thinking about thinking about this line..."I say; your whales must be seen before they can be killed." My mind wants to go right into that water, to name the whales like individuals. Friends or monsters, could go either way.

"These romantic fishermen..."

And I have a lot of thoughts to do with boxing matches, rings. So also in Moby Dick is about Bendigo. Reminded me of Bendigo in the Bible in the oven or is it A-bendigo (gonna find it).

I will have no troubles taking Bendigo-Burke in the ring (boxing) with their devilish swerve and I in fancy of that. Ahab cheering me on.

Then there's the hem. Some women who had neatly pressed hems like Judy Garland's, Joan Crawford, I bet Marilyn Monroe had a perfectly pressed dress hem. All neat and tidy.

My hem not as neatly pressed
as my lips might
perhaps be placed on his.

Just got home from seeing Lucille Ball. Went to Lucy Lane, then to her house and ended the day with her at her grave. I'll post pics if ya wanna see them, too.
Before that we went hiking, my girls and I, found a small dwarf village and a dragon forest. I could have moved in.
I've missed ya, mingo.

Had to take the Big Girl because it was not just an overnighter - we were only going to stay three days & two nights but ended up four days & three nights - packed in a bunch of stuff. Too much for both the small kayaks even together so I had to leave my beloved Rita behind. Big Girl has a big cockpit so took the rear seat out and threw just about everything behind the front seat. She's a pack horse like that and we were only going to be running slow and quiet water so I didn't miss anything.

Sorry about the softness & blur of the loons. It was taken in the morning mist on the Outlet River. Had loons take up with us the whole time we were there. The first night we spent I was awoken that morning by four of them playing about 40 yards off our campsite. Every day at least two of them would come around. Loons follow their own mind, I felt honored by their presence.

Ol' Town Mad Wayne & yours truly surrounding Lone Pine Island in Lake Piseco. It's amazing what will fascinate grown boys.

This morning when we woke the water was like glass. Bright sun in a clear sky.
I'd still be there if I could. This world, this world. Why we choose to make it one of turmoil is beyond me. God stops me in my tracks just by placing a forest on the banks of a river in old mountains.

Shot of kayak Girl on the mirror's surface. It's hard to believe that just this morning this is where we were.

There are too many things for words packed into four days & three nights.
