Watching

Post by creativesoul » September 14th, 2011, 8:20 pm

The eyes seem to decide
Where the future lies
The potential for happiness
Best suited for those
With white picket fence stories

Seeing
The tunnels of thought
Rise and fall like an empire
Twisting her up
She is like so very few
Been where she is
I came thru it
All the non controllable
Items were on the list
Somehow- in spite of it all
I know I am missed
But she let the snakes go
Walks away when extremely
Prone to temper and jealousy
The woman had all her lovers compartmentalized
They swam like the fish in her tanks
She watched them
Talked mutterly about her" weakness"
The magic pills from the shrink
Turned her gray
Confused
She talked about love
Watching
What I just walked through
The wishes I have for her
Is that she will level out
When we find out where the crack is
Mirror of the soul
Wanting so much to understand
Just have to be here
Lend a hand
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

she would get caught in a bubble
like a plastic hoop=she would slide thru to the other side
there-she once found a place she could hide

the things she dreamed she dreamed with the idea that each of the people she could be
acted of thier own accord
that she had no hand in the way the cards fell

she knew what cards to play
which ones to throw away
but the betting
well that sent her away
the concrete-the real-this world
they say
she is torn from the fabric of anarchy and patronizing male kings
she is made to bring those that are dying back
but does not remember why
was there some purpose to these uncommon gifts?
she had her friend-she watched-
while she put the pieces back together

the pieces
like memories fell on her shoulders
prayers feathers
hair
all like electrical impulses
in the air
the pieces re-formulated
built a genetic fortress
kindness and endurance
with sugar
and timelessness

they watched-she watched- it was coming from everywhere
and nowhere
skin and sadness and souls
flying thru eyelids
trained to see in the darkness
panther to mountain lion
eagle to buffalo
heron in blue

outstanding trilogy jana......has real momentum.....racing back through a life to present day like a cheetah running down an antelope.....brutal and majestic,
sadness with grace.....the hungry beast's reflections in a saharan pool of water.....guess you could say...I like it...
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

It looked me straight.
Very good.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!
