The iguana died yesterday.
I'd tried very hard to keep it's heart beating, but I guess it was because he was not in his natural environment. :(

I'll try to keep more of an understanding in the future on spontaneous joys like that and try to actually think it through firstly.
Good Morning, mingo.

Thanks, mingo.
Tonight my son and I decided to bake goodies together. We're always so kooky in the kitchen, so this time he decided to bake in his winter jacket (he said he was cold). He had the fake fur hood up, zipped to his chin and his speech was all muffled inside his coat.
Cracked me up.

We made brownies and banana bread, all gluten, dairy, egg free.
So far the brownies are done and delicious. The banana bread needed to bake for an hour, so it's still in there baking away.
It feels like a holiday.

Night nite, u.
Sleep well and better than well.

Spent most of the last two days fixing the latch on a door and the back hatch on the Cherokee. Me & the Deacon - hold up a sec, I'm wrapping slices of cheese around Trisket crackers ... ok yum. Couldn't decide between Cheerios & Triskets when I got home from work. Then I thought, I've spent all day deciding shit so here I am at the end of this day deciding shit again? I think not! I am Arturo Bandini ! I fear not fate! So I flipped a coin. On tails Triskets & cheese won. Divination by lot. Don't know why God continues to grant me days.

Where was I? O yeah, midgets in Mongolia! The Deacon and I put our brains on the line and with screwdrivers & flashlights & needle-nose pliers went to work on my Vera. It was a time for miracles. Both the door and the hatch now work.
Mostly because the Deacon is a troubleshooting whizbang even when he lacks any experience in a particular situation. He's a real Sherlock Holmes at this kind of thing & has proven out more often than not. Ah, Victory with Vera! Which is more than anyone can say 'bout our adventures in Iraq.

Vera! O how I love your black painted metal!
Now the stands were cheering in a frenzy. Women threw out their arms and begged me to win - for America. Come on Bandini! Come on Bandini! Oh you Bandini! How we love you! And the women were worried. But there was nothing to worry about. The situation was well in hand, and I knew it.

I learned a new recipe today, it's genius to me. I made chicken wing dip, but I made it with a vegan and dairy-free cream cheese, Frank's hot sauce and the chicken. I skipped the whole ranch dressing ingredient all together and still the dip was amazing! mmm

I wrapped presents and picked up around here for us to have a girl's night tomorrow night. Just wine, cards, goodies and us girls. Will be a lot of laughter, I can't wait. Since there's nobodies special in guy form knocking on my door than I need these girls of mine to get me laughing instead.

So far I've been kinda quiet.

I don't knows why they have to bees so much troubles to me, cause that is the thing I can't figure out. I guess some part of me does desire to be liked, just a little.

But, on a side note, my Dad is making the drive to come visit me tomorrow, just for lunch and then he must make the drive back. He didn't want me to be fully alone for the holidays and just that he's thought of me is making my heart go squishy.

I'm gonna cook a small free-range chicken (antibiotic free, all natural, etc.) and have a salad, prolly some taco salad, too. I'm not sure, just wanna make it special.

Sleep well.
I was surprised by an unexpected phone call in my dream last night.
Nothing but to wonder at tonight.
