Thanks for the picture of home
I used to live on Fayette St
Some buildings in the skyline I don't recognize, but I see the Shot Tower is still there.

Crazy Mike owned a speakeasy right around the corner from the shot tower
it was also right around the corner from the headquarters of the Baltimore police department.
He was crazy but he knew a good location when he saw it.

Crazy Jack, son of Crazy Mike, youngest son of a youngest son , took me years to find the compassion for my father myself.

Henry wondered why he attracted so many sick Jews.
Something about a healthy gentile excites them he speculated
Henry an American Hero to me.

"There must be something in a healthy Gentile that excites the Jewish mind, like when he sees some sour black bread."

Henry Miller and Crazy Mike both born in the 19th century, contemporaries, one a sick Jew the other a healthy Gentile.

My father my self. How Long I lived in dread of being his son
My sound track for this text box
Your picture made me home sick, I get home sick for so many cities these days,
I been thinking. Thinking about maybe going to see Clay in Dallas. When I was over the road I spent more nights camping out in Dallas than I did here San Antonio.

back to jam time
so many memories
stored up in time

jam is now
and now is
what jam is

Jam the world round
around sound
blinking cursor

Henry makes me homesick for Patagonia
Jack makes me homesick for the road to California
Erica's sticky underwear makes me wish I was doing her

I think I lost my nerve
backing off in a curve
could make a man dead graveyard dead
rip stilltrucking

I could not drive that double decker through downtown traffic, a nervous wreck, death grip on the wheel waiting for an accident to happen

on the upside since I am now a conductor I can smoke all the tea I want.

I need Rx
In a dark time the eye begins to see...Rothke?

Homeboy offered to me a chance to see a dentist, get my teeth fixed, I declined. not saying why
but knowing why
why bother, I was thinking in my heart of hearts, I ain't going to live much longer.
I almost bought a pack of Pall Malls to appease my death wish,

silent jam no music
ah
I got the osound of these keys
I can dance to that

hammer hammer
I used to be smart.

and now that my head's all full up with these
cary grant ramblings in heavy-lidded ponder
listening to doghowl twang at the end of my world
i'm gritty, and dirty, but no clue 'bout the nitty -
tar stink flat top lives on fairy mind levels
that i counted, like loping sheep in bubble clouds
they don't stop - like the highway
exitless and rambling on, like a song

hoodoo you love
the hoodoo of the mu
do you hear the music

never comprehend the power of the hoodoo of the music
words can not make that trip
I am only grateful I can listen

Three Am Cold Front moved in Listening to the
thunder and rain
lightning and hail
boogy woogie February

There is a song
in the sound of eighteen wheels
humming home sweet home

Home sweet Patagonia
a stranger in a strange land

thanks for the music
