1929
1929
when everything fell down
in 1929
it was the beginning of great fantasies for many
some women sparkled
others sold themselves standing against walls
men began to carry knives
and learned how to live on the move
we had to find & go to a big war
to cure ourselves
a war we ended
by unleashing the power of the sun

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Re: 1929
walking down the road she stood looking thin and dusty
her body was empty
her baby and her moved slower than the men
which had passed a few minutes earlier
the dust bowl was once a place of dreams
now those dreams were on the road
