And happy happys to you too, Stilltruckin'. It is pleasant to see a friend still drop by to my empty lair. I've fallen fallen fallen off the face of the earth it seems, eh, compadre.

Awfully sad and worrisome to hear of Lrod's health troubles, I hold great hope he shall survive nicely on a wing and a prayer.

We're an aging population, some of us here, oldtimers, if I dare call myself that, so missing in action. Is it any wonder we suffer the odd bit of health woes, though I still fit as a fiddle, knock wood, with most of my marbles intact.

How goes things with you? Still alive and kicking, there's a lot to be said for that. :D

I'm glad you're happy. Happy isn't the easiest thing to find, to maintain
here amidst the worldly clutter of our day to daze.
Happiness is to be treasured always
clasped to chest, clung to lest it try to escape
fleet away.

We're getting older
yet calmer and wiser
I hope and pray.

I'm happy I make your cyber world a better place. Though I am guilty of
long absences I eventually make my way back around to the
friendly fold of friendly faces here type type typing away.

I enjoyed Constantine's poem. Muffins and cupcakes, never met one I didn't like...now women on the other hand...well that is a different story! They can get on your last living nerve!... 'Course icing helps. Who doesn't like icing.

Well, we're getting so much wet and rain here lately that this ol' mouse is getting webbed feet, and a decidedly duckish walk... and isn't that a picture to please. Ha Ha

Oh yes I will always drop in from time to time, and as time permits hang around a bit for a chinwag and a smile.

Life keeps us busy and time brings changes. We submit and carry on as best we can, finding our wee enjoyments, surrounding ourselves with that which provides the most satisfaction.

There is comfort in the knowing we are all journeying toward our ages and ends with the most grace we can. I, always fighting to concentrate on the positives and let the worries take care of themselves, for worry helps naught and only increases frown lines. One can't help it though, can one, worry a steady companion that frets us to the max if we let it.

As Bob Dylan would sing..."A worried man with a worried mind
No one in front of me and nothing behind
There's a woman on my lap and she's drinking champagne
Got white skin, got assassin's eyes
I'm looking up into the sapphire tinted skies
I'm well dressed, waiting on the last train"...

Bob Dylan, 70 this year. Cool dude. Ain't there comfort in that!

that was a good song mousey, did me good to hear it. thank you very much for posting it. Always happy when you drop by.
I'm love with a woman who don't even appeal to me

You can hurt someone and not even know it
The next sixty seconds could be like an eternity
His poetry is ageless. Been that way for fifty years, some things don't change. I like his music too, but I am a lyrics kook. I don't know much about music except what I like. And what I don't. Come to think of it I don't now much about poetry either except what I likes.
Gm
A worried man with a worried mind
Cm
No one in front of me and nothing behind
Gm D
There's a woman on my lap and she's drinking champagne
Gm
Got white skin, got assassin's eyes
Cm
I'm looking up into the sapphire tinted skies
Gm D7 Gm
I'm well dressed, waiting on the last train
Eb D7 Gm
Standing on the gallows with my head in a noose
Eb D
Any minute now I'm expecting all hell to break loose

Gm
Chorus People are crazy and times are strange
Cm
I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range
Gm D7 Gm
I used to care, but things have changed

Instrumental Gm Cm Gm D7 Gm

This place ain't doing me any good
I'm in the wrong town, I should be in Hollywood
Just for a second there I thought I saw something move
Gonna take dancing lessons do the jitterbug rag
Ain't no shortcuts, gonna dress in drag
Only a fool in here would think he's got anything to prove
Lot of water under the bridge, lot of other stuff too
Dont get up gentlemen, I'm only passing through

Chorus

Instrumental

I've been walking forty miles of bad road
If the bible is right, the world will explode
I've been trying to get as far away from myself as I can
Some things are too hot to touch
The human mind can only stand so much
You can't win with a losing hand
Feel like falling in love with the first woman I meet
Putting her in a wheel barrow and wheeling her down the street

Chorus
Instrumental

I hurt easy, I just don't show it
You can hurt someone and not even know it
The next sixty seconds could be like an eternity
Gonna get low down, gonna fly high
All the truth in the world adds up to one big lie
I'm love with a woman who don't even appeal to me
Mr. Jinx and Miss Lucy, they jumped in the lake
I'm not that eager to make a mistake

Chorus
Instrumental ad lib(let ya spirit fly and compose a new solo section!!)

ThaT's a really great song folks!play it,enjoy it!!

‘He loved three things, alive:’

He loved three things, alive:
white peacocks, songs at eve,
and antique maps of America.
Hated when children cried,
and raspberry jam with tea,
and feminine hysteria.
…and he had married me.
Anna Akhmatova

If I love three things
she is one of them

last night I fell asleep listening to an audio book , torrid troubled dreams. Funny how what I listen to while sleeping seeps into my dreams.

Tonight this is going to be my sleepy time music

strange to be reading Nitzsche again at the tender age of seventy two.
The Anti Christ for the first time. Funny thing is I never knew he had another career as a middle linebacker :o

I wish I had some good news for you, but you know how it is I guess when you have the faith of a heretic.

If I am reading correctly the glad tidings is still good news, but the people who profess it got it wrong.

Why do the politicians who pander to the evangelicals spread such bad news?

I suppose that is what he meant by dysangelicals

In the meantime I hope you are well

after Joyce maybe

How did a negor slave come to have the name of Martin Luther. Seems he saved Christianity and that is why Ray detested him.

And in baltimore we used to say a nigger ain't nothing but a Jew turned inside out. Hope you had a good Father's Day mi amiga. Mine was very nice, the best ever. I dreamed about my father he looked so young in the dream and then I remembered I am eight years older then he got to be. Love and compassion for Crazy Mike. At long last, love and compassion. and blessed be his memory, good and bad.

Martin Luther King, a man with a hell of a superEgo Crazy Mike would say.

Crazy Mike was crazy brave, never denied he was a Jew.

Reading a biography of Martin Luther, well not so much reading as listening to. I got the book on CD's. I fall asleep night after night, drifint off into 16th century Germany. And my days have been busy. What a life for a herectic like me. Never knew, knever thought I would wind up a monk.
That's all the news that's fit to post on FaceBook. Lordy how I dread that place, I crave the company of strangers.

I been thinking about building a wood boat in my spare time.

Thinking about my avatar again. We all know the story of the samuari warrior who could not slay his enemy after the guy spit on him. Is that redundant, samurai warrior, is the there anyother kind of samurai. I wonder.
