pope bing

Post by constantine » February 16th, 2013, 8:41 pm

what's with the pope
all of a sudden
he quits his day job
like, hey man
i'm tired of the pope gig
going to space out for a while
that's what happens when you don't go italian
you get some guy who doesn't have a fucking clue
not an inkling of what pope is all about
yeah, we know you're old and your knees hurt
but what the fuck?
it sets a weird precedent
an anything goes type situation
it's like having ozzie nelson
or fucking bing crosby as the holy father
in a pastel blue cardigan and smoking a pipe
god blessing the brownies or a good cup of joe
i don't know what to think anymore

I wish I did not know what to think anymore.

It would be a relief to just say I don't know what to think.
I guess that is why we need a Pope to pontificate for us, how else would we know what to think? I hope they hurry up and find a new guy or maybe a gal.

good poem
pardon the ramble

it would be hard to give up infallibility and excommunication.

gee, i wonder what's in the pope's retirement package....hasn't really come up for a few thousand years....I would think the Vatican's a pretty cool place to kick back with a nice bottle of Chianti though
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism
