I'd be happy to lie on the rooftop
contemplating the merits of apathy
vis a vis the pain of awareness
for hours on end, staring down the night
to see who blinked first
I'd be happy swimming with the starfish
tossed back and forth like a beach ball
by my adopted family of dolphins,
the torpedoes of never-ending war
a long forgotten recollection
Hell, i'd be happy forgetting who I am tonight
left only with my childish dreams
that still might come true,
I'd be happy tonight to demonstrate to you
some of my non-verbal communication
deep within the bliss of amnesia
deep within the bliss of amnesia
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism

Re: deep within the bliss of amnesia
sometimes the quiet helps demonstrate the secrets of our souls
NICE-------WRITE SUGAR
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
