I wish I could remember where I read this:

"the present keeps dragging us into the past"

All I can Google is this:

“The past does not only draw us back to the past. There are certain memories of the past that have strong steel springs and, when we who live in the present touch them, they are suddenly stretched taut and then they propel us into the future.”—Yukio Mishima

I got a knack for knacking at things past, though I always think it's going on right this very moment

that's just how moment it is or it's the passion.

Passion? Oh yes I remember passion.

Come all ye fair and tenders ladies
Be careful how you court young men
They're like the stars on a summer's morning
First appear and then they're gone

I know.
I get a bit of anxiety about it. :P Just when I throw myself all in, in a red cool chrome and red car from 1950s, a little make-up mirror and swooned

that's just about when he walks the corner with leading lady on his arm.

Like that a lot of times.

Mingo so nice to me today that I thought he was saying goodbye, kept watching for a letter, read up the Deer Jan, bit my one finger.

How easy to be a school girl again.

Yesterday I had Cat, today he was missing.
And it goes, it goes.

But, I'd not trade it off for something other.
I enjoy it too much to want at some other sliced life.

I'm kind of learning to say hello all the time,
which is pretty good. I like saying hello.

Being in the game gave me a feeling that I'd forgotten.
I was trying to build the character up enough to be able to play the game together, I do that here, too. I get so caught up in it at times, trying to bring back the animal and throw it down across the porch.

It is the living, I'm living.

So yeah, I wasn't exactly single when we met, but I wasn't hunting rabbits either and when I slept I didn't wake with stories in the mind, but I woke cursing. Now I got all these stories and images and birds and coyotes and

wanting to pleases.

It's a good life, there's a clock, a belly and the wild.

She was soft and quiet light,
until she fell over him

then she was a thousand stars exploding
around a straight up rocket ship.

I remember back to when she thought she'd meet up with him, what a trip then, she could never stop the flirtations. It was morning, afternoon and all night long.
Her yap yap yapping at me and my eyes were rolling.

She'd try to convince me what a fine man was him,
but I tried to tell her, "Darling, he's still a man and a man only breaks hearts, ya knows."
That was it then, looking at the heart, looking at the break it could be getting and women.

The dove cooed all day,
I wanted to throw her out.
But, I keep her to remind me not to ever get
another dove for a pet.

Caged, caged, caged
like so many birds

and he strutted
then laughed
outside it.

Today is the day
is the day, is the day
to get the umbrellas out,
the sunglasses out,
the wine glasses, the salmon with lemon
and broiled.

A divine day, is the day
is the day.

She went two feet under
and he sat on top.

Well, to Alice
is wasn't that she didn't want to be at cards
with him

it was that he was at cards with
a Cheshire grin
and more than likely the Queen,
to be continued.

The story that we tell them,
when the wind is picked up,
if lightening strikes,
over the tall bridge when it's snaky

the story is
she'd win,
certainly she'd win.
