rhythm and blues
words line up like bricks
in the walls
of a penitent's cell

nietzsche is easy
jesus is hard
I wish Jack
woulda took better care of himself
who is going to write his stories now

Nietzsche and Jesus my life changers
Buddha and Saint Jack too
but first there was acid
and Nietzsche

Settling in at the bar
Saturday morning
Bloody Mary's galore
Me on black illy coffee
No more wasted daze
All of them unique
Unknowing youth making their waze
No sense bursting bubbles
Saint Jack
Kept writing till the bitter end
I found Vanity of Duloz entertaining
Written to Stella
Ya know she waited for Jack all those years
Stayed virgin
Him on William F. Buckley show
Making Carolyn Cassidy cry
I saw it back then, but did not understand
It's all there on YouTube
Even jack shooting pool

I would love to see that video where he made carolyn cry.

I used to feel like barry manilow with those evil women on litchicks
you know the ones who are bent on world domination, do I need to put an emoticon here to indicate that I am joking?
I said "i wnat to be the one to make the young girls cry" but I guess I should hayve uut a lol after it, I think they took me seriously because they had a picture posted of them wearing Barry Manilow jackets, matching jackets.

I used to send her happy birthday messages here on studio eight, but I had not thought about her in years, I miss lucy too.
kerouac and dylan too

those high school kids on litkicks
all grown up now
colllege women
yeah I do this for them
they are my fat lady jesus in the front row
but now I just want to make them laugh
cause I think women are fucked
they don't get zen
i guess that is why jews are so grateful to be born a man not a woman

i been lucky with booze
suprised I don't drink more than I do
i actually enjoy it.
I try to understand why lew would do that
what were his doctors thinking what ever happened to "first do no harm" hipstercratic oath and all that.
I feel like he must have misunderstood the myth of Camus?)

i like that picture
I'd like to march in that procession

the rock is meant to be rolled
language brought the radio
the radio carried rock & roll
and the only thing left after that
was an empty tomb
the jam is thick with hearing
the jam is map & friend & sight
the jam is rich & poor
the many the few the family
jam is the living science of
every single thing
to breathe it
to say it
to sing it
to eat short
and still smile

if i was a poet
jam would be where the action is

action retraction
jam is like a super computer time machine
I can dance on light beams
bouncing off an old broken bottle
or a diamond
jamatronics
jam is hammer hammer
it is the fast lane
the show off lane
the shot down in flames lane
the road is jam

jack knew that

Came upon it
A gift for me
Don't remember it
Most of hers I do

Experience experiment Stephen stills on the tunes words on the run some might call it jam! It's sticky indeed and every time I wanna stop another thought enters my mind treetop flyer....

Late blast at cafe Nola
Best French toast around
Sittin sippin illy coffee
Another best
Black coffee
From all my researches
I've concluded that's how
On the road was written
By Jack, steady doses of black coffee
No speed, little pot, they called it T
I remember that terminology
Way back in the day
Jam on me!

jambling rambling
gettin it down
or watchin it go by
sails up sails down
either way the wind's gonna blow
true sailin or untrue sailin
on a ship like this it just don't matter
lew welch never said a word
about ol' kentucky before he
walked off into wild california
it could all be lies
but what would the difference be?
i get confused
i get the blues
but I always got my coffee
i don't want to take or hold ground
i just want to raid it
until someplace else
calls my name
