woman driver - maybe 40 & a bit
dressed in business slacks & jacket
hair neck length - brown - she was put together - top nice
damn is this a detective novel or what?
she said - "You have such a beautiful dog,
I always see you out walking with him, I want one just like him but
my husband won't let me have one because they drool" -
you wouldn't know it to look at him but
Bean is a heavy duty electro supercharged magnet running on heavy fuel
when it comes to the ladies - i can't figure it out
he's a coonhound for godsakes but he can draw them in close
without doing anything 'cept being there
and speaking of drool, looking at her i hoped i wasn't
had to work to keep it out of my voice too -

not 20 seconds before all this
i was minding my own business
just out walkin' the Bean
and then WHAM! - right in the middle of a situation, ya know?
we chatted a bit then she smiled "nice to meet you"
& drove her Mercedes on down the road -
i spent the rest of the day trying to get the hell off Fantasy Island

today that spot is a golf course
called "Battle Island"
