plenty damn stupid though
scores of times,
went to the school of low blows
and creative bitch-slapping,
I was so lost
I'd hurt myself on purpose
chasing mythical beasts, searching
in dangerous places
the black iniquity rooms,
all the time digging
into no-exit tunnels
crawlin' out ass backwards
fighting the obviousness of life
with teeth and claws, and
mule-ass stubbornness
