after all the places
I have been...
or happed to pass between,
in all my wondering
the wanting...
and wanderlusting themes,
and the memories cherished
with the few...
disasters unforeseen,
I still remember well
the faces...
the kindly and the mean,
in all the restless days
long nights...
or the dull routines,
and those wasted hours
the wine...
my excess and extremes,
of all my incoherent
and now...
insignificant dreams,
I still remember to remain
fool-hearted...
for as long as this life deems

spoken like a blue true poet

Re: still remember
"I still remember to remain
fool-hearted..."
Why is this so hard for people to remember?
The end rhyme is perfect. It's there. It's non-intrusive. Almost a lullaby.

Re: still remember
thanks RR,
am I blue... wish I knew...
it's not indended here, but it
matters not to me... it's up to you
sixes and eights...
it's how to stay young forever
thank you
I have maybe-weird ideas with respect
to rhyming, simple, easy to read, mostly,
semi-typical... and the rhyming words...
sometimes I pick out all the rhymes first,
and then adjust the rest to fit
