Continuum

Post by 68degrees » February 10th, 2015, 2:52 pm

After all the geese have left,
in that space beyond the middle
of the field, and sparrows appear
with snow dust upon tiny wings

Only then do we realize there is a moment,
not at the end, but the beginning of another

It will be eight below zero tonight;
how long can we all be together?
How long can we hold our breath?

love how much you have expressed with such economy....something you are very good at

enjoyed the imagery and the questions posed
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

how long can we all be together?
How long can we hold our breath?
now ain't them the questions of the ages? - right here in our own backyard to top it all off.
all I know is the cold will keep us together as long as it can 8)
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

I think we live by the questions in our lives, not the answers. Just my take...

Deep freeze is returning later in the week here. Brrrrrrrrrr for Valentine's Day. Close hugs and kisses will be at a premium.

Love Frisbee. Not enough Frisbee played in the world. Someone always used to have one in the trunk of their car or in a backpack. Where's the park...oh. right. Under all this fricking snow.
