tall drink of woman
laced with double barrel qualifications
stark lapel power heels
fluid gaze

right between the eyes

I'm up for another round, of course...

I did so like the elicit sound of 'laced with'...
as if to say you drink her in...
and she's laced with substances (like kick-ass quals)
that make you give her that kick-ass job

maybe my syntax is fucked up....this was meant to portray that SHE is the tall drink,
not that she slammed a drink..
...although, 'slammed' has possibilities....

I like sloe gin actually

the job interview has always held an element of tension...as we know, you never get a second chance at a first impression...dressing the part, potent eye connection...are all part of the deal...oh yes, and let's not overlook the handshake....
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

yes, saw. thank you -- I popped this piece out after I was offered an appointment for a job interview next Monday. I'm jazzed. The only jobs I've ever interviewed for that didn't result in a job offer were for lame-ass jobs I didn't want anyway. I'm going to nail this one...cuz what shadow wants...shadow gets......

So good. If you have a job interview----I hope you get the job if you want it.

The poem is short and sweet----right between the eyes.

thank you, wireman, and theirishsea -- much appreciated that you read and commented

the job would give me a significant upgrade in pay, plus it sounds interesting and a little challenging
in any case, a great change from what I'm used to which is an aggravatingly easy job for shit pay
