for war

Post by the mingo » April 2nd, 2015, 5:17 am

wake up
get out of bed
put on boxers
socks
long underwear pants
moccasin slippers
step over dog
make coffee
swallow coffee
ready for war
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

similar to my day-start:
coffee FIRST!! always!!!!
puzzle at door of closet
which pants, shoes, scarf...(cuz that's what women do)
ah...the Juicy Couture flats will go nicely with this....
doll up in the mirror
while listening to HLN
kiss quickly as I fly out the front door
tackle morning traffic
front line of desk waiting for me at the office
fight battle fatigue all day......

brief (pun intended?) and to the point. I like this. It can be read in a number of contexts and really relevant to all.

Adequate words for ensuing victories or defeats, depending upon an individual's situation.
