Echo Of A Kiss

Post by Tjflowers80 » August 1st, 2015, 7:35 pm

I listen to the sound
My heart begins the beat
Echoing all around
As I sit in the summer heat.

Oh is it he, the knight
The one whom I crave always
The giver of forbidden light
When I have my darker days.

A prayer to the gods I send
To keep him whole heartedly afloat
With passion on the winds
Assisting others in loss of hope.

Knight shall we find each other's embrace
As we ourselves need to be beyond the high
Only to bask in the lovers grace
I for you and you for I?
And above me the stars align
But not yet with my own
And the night birds sing
Whilst the demon haunts this restless soul.

I love the piece and the title.
Giving a kiss a new dimension.

Thank you Jess

His kiss always echoes.
And above me the stars align
But not yet with my own
And the night birds sing
Whilst the demon haunts this restless soul.

The feeling behind this comes through. The poem opens like a morning glory.

you've got this thing for knights, don't you Jess ?........ha ha

maybe you ought to set your sights on men seen more often in your comings and goings...ha

just sayin'.....like Sparrow, very much like the title.....I like trying to picture that echo
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
