toward the edge of conclusion

you can forget about all your farewells, my son,
ripples... last remnants of your foregone illusion,
mere reflections, upon the seventh face of man,
sailing ever closer toward the edge of conclusion,
out there, way out there... is the real adventure,
among oceans of sorrow, and mountains of pain,
and that veil of years, poised beyond the horizon,
pulling against time... as if to declare its ill claim,
and above all this life, there dangles every tease,
a fair day's ration for my time spent in this maze,
from the shadows, one will question the occasion,
so... just whose masquerade is it here, anyways,
but without suspecting any response of abilities,
I'm surprised at who is seeing, through my eyes,
let it be then... from wisdom's whispering words,
as the masks of man, makes for a poor disguise,
out of faith or out of phase... time to pull the pin,
paradise isn't wanting, for anyone who hesitates,
grab life by the moment, before you pass it by...
yes, time stands still, as it is you who fluctuates

Needed to hear this from someone else. Now I don't feel so alone. Thank you.
And above me the stars align
But not yet with my own
And the night birds sing
Whilst the demon haunts this restless soul.

a good fluctuation or two is not to be lightly passed up - I'll take three, please 8)
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

if I'm allowed to paraphrase a bit,.... If we are lucky we all get a "fairs day ration" for our "time spent in this maze"

smooth ride....8)
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
