I've always loved her! I saw her play once many years ago at U. of Md. (Or maybe it was Constitution Hall... I can't remember) ... But she was great!

Yes the real deal! the poem took me back to my younger days ,every one made music.it was just part of being alive. Her songs were so powerfull ,from the heart . Thank you for the reminder

Yes! We all played music. Everybody played, everybody sang. It was great! I miss the days when I was surrounded by live music. I need to make it happen again. I have instruments. I just need people.
Way back in high school we had a Folk Club and this song reminds me of that. We'd play guitar and sing Buffy St. Marie's "Universal Soldier" song. What great memories.
