requires a derailment

in the space in the middle

'tween poetry and hatred
a man walks a crooked line

towards the unknown
a black hole is personalized

with all the goodies that make us sweet
to the ear, to that place

where we are all drunk
on the ethers of kindness

and empathy is assertive,
a clear and present nest on high

for the man in pain, for the
woman in tears, a psychic hug

we are all healers when we are present
when we are observant we have all the gifts

waiting to be given, climb aboard
the love train, it's pulling out of the station

feel the hot rails beneath your seat
they run parallel from one end to the other

unless we bend them
