In the business of moving mountains, he was readying himself before the rain started. Libations were the order of the day. Down by the creek was where old Li Po wanted to play. It started with a few sprinkly drops and ended in a deluge.
By the time it was all over the creek had risen and the temperature had dropped a good 20 degrees. To the strains of an erdu Li sat down and composed an upbeat song.

(Later that day)

Mesmerized by feelings of the past he sat down to read. By candlelight the action danced before his eyes. Caught between new world nights and deep mountain tops he wiled away the hours. To write or not to write was the only question.

Seeking thrills
Bouncing from thought
to thought
The rain persisted

Made me think of Jimi,
but he was chopping mountains,
not moving them, but it's
all something like the
same groove..

....old li po sittin at the bar chomping on bacon, sipping coffee, thinking bout jimi.....drifting on a sea of memories, heartbreak, confusion, needing that lifeline, almost 50 years since jimi's been gone to the ever after .........li po time traveler, adventurer in poetic time...

.......it is illusion, the march of time....relentless in its onward flow.....here today gone tomorrow......surfing a never ending flow, that is while your here, whilst you be in this realm of consciousness.......oh sweet dreams, so divine...lost upon waking, but somewhere in the back of mind there's a glimmer, a tiny inkling that will never be extinguished.... 8)
