Re: Children :the War
I'm old enough to remember the memorial wall for kids lost in the last few years to Vietnam when I started junior high school. Right away I wondered what the hell we were doing.

Re: Children :the War
I remember the saying “ war is not healthy for children and other living things”.. it was a bumper sticker that was pretty widespread- protesting against the Vietnam war- writing letters to the president about war being bad,
I lived close to ucla and there were “ activists “ having speeches in the parks -I rode my bike up the hill - I wanted to listen-
I was fascinated with any “ underdog” - Che Guevara’s red flag with his face on it- Malcolm x - martin Luther king-
Black elk
Hero’s of time
Hero’s of mine

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
