my attentiveness
like a branch
dropped from the
tree of thought
my span so small
that it couldn't
even traverse
my one lone tear
clouds tie dye the skies of falling suns
clouds tie dye the skies of falling suns

Re: clouds tie dye the skies of falling suns
Well my friend, that's why I went to the desert in the first place, to see the sun, because I hadn't seen enough of it and I knew I only had so much time. Great perspective here.

Re: clouds tie dye the skies of falling suns
My feet were dry
The skin spoke of heat
Desert dust- tumbleweeds
The motel t v was always on
Walls and bad paintings
Old loves and bad endings
New beginnings start here
If you have enough fire
The clouds talk
In unusual shapes
Wind blowing from the west
A huge lizard runs by
It seemed while the sun
Came on like a blaze
Way back in the day
Those Indians speak
Of a place way up on that peak
The skin spoke of heat
Desert dust- tumbleweeds
The motel t v was always on
Walls and bad paintings
Old loves and bad endings
New beginnings start here
If you have enough fire
The clouds talk
In unusual shapes
Wind blowing from the west
A huge lizard runs by
It seemed while the sun

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
