Reality TV
Re: Reality TV
Who doesn't?!
Re: Reality TV
I got nothin' against the fluid dynamics of human flesh - but there's just something dishonest about the leering voyeurism that so often accompanies it. At least porn doesn't pretend to be something it's not (unless it poses as "high art"...)

Re: Reality TV
Oh, good grief. "Jiggling titties"? Really? LOL!! What YEAR is this? What channel is this? Studio8? I forgot where I was for a minute.
I like muscles. *shrug*
I also enjoy TV. Not all of it. But some of it. I don't watch "reality tv" except for the so-called news which IS "reality tv".
And Shark Tank. I sometimes watch Shark Tank. It's a good show.

Re: Reality TV
No I'm sorry. Reality TV sucks. There is no reality. At least not like that. So it seems. There's a lotta buybuybuy porn though...

Re: Reality TV
Anthony Bordaine: Parts Unknown .... omg it is one great tv show! I love it!
Strange thing is, ever since he committed suicide I haven’t been able to watch it. I don’t know why.
I wouldn’t call it reality TV... I’d call it documentary TV. Documentaries are one of my favorite film genres. Just like I like reading non-fiction more than I like reading fiction these days.
Anyway I just thought of this show and thought I’d mention what an excellent show it is.
I’m not sorry I like it. I’m sorry his death made me so upset that I haven’t been able to watch it for a while.

Re: Reality TV
I watched that one too, when a roommate was paying for cable. I liked that show. For awhile. No, I was thinking more like 'Survivor'. And maybe 'The Sopranos' if you expand a little. They sucked. Bad way to start a new millennium. Too much baggage..

Re: Reality TV
Yeah I agree... I never watched Survivor or any other reality tv show like that. They are stupid!
I never even saw The Sopranos... but I thought that was a drama series, not reality tv.

Re: Reality TV
Oh ok.
Hey, the lines blur a little in my personal reality and drama, too!
I’m so bored. Sorry to be hijacking your poem thread. I guess I should go to sleep.
When are you coming east? How’s your new book coming along?

Book's done. Need to get it into print somehow. Really busy these days, just trying to get retired. Finally. Enough of that 9 to 5 crap! Seriously. Ha, looks like I got a little off-topic here, mentioning Tony and the boys. (That's another thread!)...
Re: Reality TV
I likes' ta watch those ads that follow me around on the internet, sometimes i get bored with reality anything, tv or anything else. So
I do a lot of shopping but don't buy much I just like to think about cool stuff. Never had any children to raise so I had to raise myself. i was born before black and white TV. I escaped those critical years adssimilation, a generation of vipers raised on tv.
