the tipping point is sharp as broken glass
I can see my face in the fragments on the floor
it's this thing I do....try to put things back in their place
only to realize any restoration will end up looking
painfully the same
truth is, I'd rather look at Mona Lisa
with a sharpie mustache, it could be my vanity
license plate on the rear end of my hydrogen powered machine
sailing through the streets of Baltimore with a bumper sticker
that reads, I Dig Jazz.....with love for Stephane Grappelli abounding in my needy heart
as I navigate the madness....I'd relax in his way with strings....his way of changing my mood
hoping my fantasies will mean that
the tipping point
wasn't just some horrific every day occurrence that plunged
into my rib cage
but rather me banking into a turn on my magic carpet
with Franz Marc woven into the pattern
this cheerful scenario I could sit upon, cross-legged, cool breeze on my heated forehead
cruising in and out of the blue horses and yellow cows
away from the insanity of the city and into the arms of good old country serenity
it's up to me...I have a choice....their world....or mine
tipping point
tipping point
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
you may end up where you are heading

Re: tipping point
if there's an opportunity,
choose
choose what makes me feel better
choose what i yearn for
use the choice
thanks for the reminder, steve

Re: tipping point
Always a choice, at least in internal approach. Easier said than done in navigating a city's unrelenting pressures..
