I believe in Gangsters

Post by mnaz » February 8th, 2020, 10:31 pm

Sorry Jesus, misguided soul.
The whole thing is Gangsters.
Principle? there is no principle.
Take what you can and rape and
gain and it's fair, the rape of rock.
Maybe it makes a net profit.

Gangsters everywhere,
sucking dry what they can,
while they still can..

it's worse than dog eats dog
which implies a battle of peers
No this is more like T-Rex eats dog
such enormous power concentrated
in the claws and talons of a few
immoral bloodthirsty mobsters
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Surreal what's going on. The Corporate Mob has almost completely overrun/canceled all branches of government. It's just a matter of which billionaire crime bosses jockeying for power get to call the shots.

And apparently one hell of a lot of us are just fine with it. Anything else would "ruin the economy"...

check your scruples at the door
something is terribly wrong when a US senator
than makes 174 k per year, has made 25 million in office
that would be Mitch McConnell....
and as you say no one seems to care
because deep down inside those that look the other way
still actually believe they may one day be a millionaire as well
and the only thing going well in the economy is the stock market
which most of these pro Trump fools have zero dollars invested in
and the job rate is a farce too....these are all service work type jobs
careers are not being born, and now the orange menace
is going after anyone that says anything bad about him at all
surreal is a perfect word....maybe dystopian as well
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Nietzsche was sorry about Jesus too
he stared into the abyss and
wrote a history of the future

the wheel is turning
cosmology cheers me up

Gangsters = Wealth = Power.

The failure in this is Power runs on the fuel of an economy that serves NOT everyone but only that Gangster. Gangsters die just like all Life. We cannot bring wealth with us as the tombs in the pyramids prove... the dead remained dead and all that was to go with the Powerful was simply kept from the People. Ignorance survives by wealth.

we have never needed protests in the streets more
most people would be on their better behavior after an impeachment trial
but like any mobster worth his salt, his acquittal has emboldened him
to eradicate his enemies ( anyone that doesn't like him or isn't duly afraid of him )
This is No Joke
I generally do not get this alarmed , but our country is being destroyed
and we shouldn't lose sight of all the damage
drilling in our precious national parks, the cutbacks to medicare and social security
I will be on the street, if this continues
I keep wondering what is enough...a man in Kansas was imprisoned for not be able to afford his medical bills

https://www.cbsnews.com/video/county-in ... ical-debt/

is this the country we want or should we hit the streets and say stop this shit now
it's a valid question my friends....the prez has some sick people advising him....they almost seem bent on watching suffering
we are talking about a man that admires despots

sorry for the rant, but i no longer see him as merely an annoyance....he is a danger
and I'm having trouble just meditating him away

ok, i'm going to make a cup of Chamomile tea
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

people in the street
I always think of Malcom X when people mention MLK
we need leaders of his stature, maybe even a billionaire with his courage
someone who can afford to buy the US government that is what the electoral college has morphed into, an auction.

people in the street sure, why not it worked in Saigon back in the sixties

it's tea for texas too, thanks for the rant

An auction . . . Picture Trump & Bloomberg, the only 2 bidders left in an auction room full of empty seats eventually. Which bazillionaire(s) are next? Funny to read responses from random fine citizens to the question "is America turning fascist?" Like everything else, split along "party lines." One person's swamp-drainer/slash/purveyor of populist "greatness" is another's Left or Right (pick one) Fascist and/or Communist. I guess I express my own "bias" when I say you'd have to be blind as a friggin' bat to miss the slide into authoritarian bulldozing of Constitutional checks, balances and rule of law and pathological strains of nationalism currently on the rise, but hey ...

As for taking to the streets? I think we tried that a few years ago, didn't we? "Occupy" ... That didn't seem to go too well. Our buddy Bloomberg (NYC mayor at the time) did a number on folks with his brigades of riot cops. The Obama years saw their share of Constitutional erosion as well, but in hindsight that might just be a classic case of "if you think it's bad now ..."

This word "bias" gets tossed around today like a Nerf ball, but the fact is even DJT himself, the fake President, consistently uses "B|AS" as a shot against the Democrats. Singling any party our and using the name as a bias is BIAS itself. But apparently his trumpettes don't see that they and DJT are bias themselves when the it against their opposition.

Authoritarianism is something DJT thrives to achieve, any way he can. Why else would he bother to have "secret, closed door meetings" with NoKo's Un? or Putin? Remember these meetings DID NOT allow anyone to listen in.

But apparently NOBODY in the GOP recognizes this... or encourages this move to Authoritarianism. That is numero uno (#1) concern to our Democracy there EVER has been in our history. Think about that!!

GANGSTERS indeed! The ultimate in Gansterism is right here, NOW, in our very Government.

These latter day snake-oil "leaders" with side deals and ideological hard-on catchphrases, if they can be called that (like evil socialism). Interesting and a little terrifying to see how these dynamics play out from a contrived 'Left' versus 'Right' template. Gangsters depend on that tension.

But hey, I HATE politics, so what do I know?

I do believe you HATE what politics has become, eh?

It's always been a duel between parties, roiling each to reach the top, whatever they may believe.

What I see is politics in the hands of "greed" rather than "need", which fulfills the gaps in the citizenry's problems.

Theoretically, politics is (should be) very simple. But the money factor taints the ideal, just as of late, it has
tainted the country's once cherished Constitution. Bring ego into it that has big money behind it and it leaves out the majority.

It cannot be believed that our current fake-leader had his crew of attorneys seek every little (or large) fracture in the Constitution in order to bypass the rules or regulations that every other president adhered to. The Constitution is a set of ideals when followed does what it always has... sensible and fair "rules" to abide by. DJT takes it upon himself to avoid the Constitution because "he thinks he can"... not one to play by rules to get what he wants, he's a rule breaker that skirts anything he must abide by. Hardly what anyone with sense would tolerate. Our largely Senate GOP wears blinders as if there is nothing wrong in their hands. Fools! Fools that bring great harm to our Nation.
