⁃ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
⁃
⁃ Your armory of needs
⁃ overprotecting your wants
⁃ will you die for that stuff
⁃ is that all you really have become?
⁃
⁃ When will you surrender
⁃ all that you've accumulated
⁃ and see the pristine you that lies
⁃ underneath all the facade you have built?
⁃
⁃ Don't share your stuff with me
⁃ I would be happy with the real you
⁃ that lies buried deep under that pile of shit
⁃ that long hidden soul of your wonder shining
⁃ so bright wanting to blend into another soul such as yours
⁃
⁃ Your real gift of life is patience
⁃ awaiting your next rebirth if necessary
⁃ but why wait until the next time
⁃ when now is all you have.

Re: beneath the tomb
I hear much frustration in this
reminds me of when my mother would use the phrase.....She is just putting on Airs
but specifically here though, that frustration... can cause real pain to others
and feels terribly fake, in ways you see as unnecessary
and there seems to be a longing. perhaps long held
to see, and be with..... the real person
good account of all that in your poem,,,( as I read it )

If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
you may end up where you are heading
