my grandmother in Virginia ( dad's mom ) had long white hair that she wore up in the day time, but late at night i would often see her brushing it when it was down......she put a lot of love it seemed to that simple act......

i love that you have such a memory. Brushing long hair. Such a tradition that warms the heart.
