Black Tongued Behemoths

Post by saw »

empire managers
love to paint the world
in rosy red, but
it simply will not cover
the blackened truth

ordinary folks
cannot be persuaded
to fall in love with this cheap art
citizens can't help but notice
Hey, This is a Knockoff !

yet the pretend artists keep repeating
Isn't This Just Big and Beautiful !
Cheery Red is not a real color,
No, that's not a typo for cherry,
it's the farcical paint they use

to try and cover the reality from black tongued devils....
perhaps they have appropriated the original meaning
of Tongue Twisters, but in any case
The Big Lie not only lives today,
but it is an expanding Behemoth
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism

wish we could all just sing "all you need is love" and flowers would cover the meanies.
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach 10,000 stars how not to dance.

mostly I protect my sanity by not diving in too deep into the morass, but I do like to occassionally blow off some steam...it feels like a measure of good health...like taking vitamins and getting some exercise... 8)

I liken it more to blood pressure medication!

Maybe it's just as simple as Lightning Rod (R.I.P.) once said: Some people just wear their shoes too tight.
