Jam #2 - Caged Within Freedom

Freedom lies just on the other side
I long to find my way
Into a different day
Where peace and joy I know I'll find.

my walls
are fences, too
the type that persist
yet i can see right thru
can't always reach
can't always fly
but can see right thru
to me and you

The worse thing about being fenced in
is you can see the other side
where the illusion of freedom taunts you
but trutfully your always free if you never hide
the light that shines from within your mind
it will guide you everytime.

It guides us, but to where?
For still the fence is there
And freedom's just a myth
until our body's stiff.

Liberate, please cut the fence
and let this spirit fly
so she can find her place in life
and tell the past goodbye.

sometimes being trapped

is the only way we know

smile at the gatekeeper

maybe, just maybe

he'll let us go

but to where

does anybody know

what waits

on the other side
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse
