Love is a journey
Having learned to breath
Do we stop because we know how?

*smooch* to all jammers for sharing the beautiful new day

Cantaloupe, lady?
'maters, okrah, yeller squash?
Purple hulls, cream peas, fresh-shelled blackeyes!
Sweet peaches, baby!
Farmer's market bursts with fragile excellence
Priced for quick summer sale
And oh man, what colors, what smiles
And me and my love
Giving it all away because we've got fresh fruit no end.

In the black lies all the colors absorbed
I absorb black into my being
real knowing life is more than
we believe it to be.
Mysterious wondrous awakenings
each day I become more not moral less
in my desire to do more good
than harm my fellow man.
In pain we grow,
in happiness’s bliss we relish
the good seeds grown in fertile soil
waiting to reap the harvest of beauty.

All the roads I traveled led me here
all the sights along the way made me see
a rainbow in a different light
and the light in the darkness.
In my dreams I find my muse
writing of life, love and sorrow.
He stands by me in my journey.
Never have I felt more alive
in the moment, in the second
that breaks apart eternity
into manageable human increments.
In the dawning of a new day
I feel alive creating my moves
unafraid to make a choice and live
with knowing they will spread seeds of joy.

It has been a wonderful jam and I will leave you know until the next one. Thanks for the opportunity to let my muse speak and grow in the company of such wonderful poets. Dandy and I are off to make our final wedding plans.

Would love to have some cantaloupe
send it up my way
Could use a burst of sweetness
to invade this cloudy day.

cucumber love is the longest
tomatoes are desire
and flesh fruits
slide me in
to the peachy fuzz
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

then there is watermelon love
where you strip it from the vine
and right there in the field
drop it and it splits
and you rip the heart out
with your fingers
and slurp the pure
seedless pleasure
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

Bring me tomatoes every day
I want to eat them fresh
And every day I want to try
Those fragrant blossoms in your sigh
Your rind, your pulp, round all array
Your newly dewey flesh

I am on a journey
in search of a
whirlpool bath.
I am on a cybertrip,
chasing an elusive
jet, massage for a
weary back.
When I reach my
destination, I will be
naked. I will have returned
to a womb, wet, sin-skin
soaked, a bambino emerging,
wrapped in succulent terrycloth.
I am heaven bound.

Can I get a witness!

Went to sleep in Nevada dust,
woke up to a cool reflection,
the road within, and without,
equally as clear...
