.

i would remain
unmoved in the midst
paid with stillness more than
breathe a single falsehood
into time's marked dreams

and quiet, yes,
sufferance should one recoil

the empty pour into the void when all
that is known
is to be somebody

and with that body
move
carve
hide and seek chin
up passed this slip
of omission

heart held
close yet ever questioning the
never fulfilled

stillness met bride and love
kissed with pardon the soles these
earthbound feet exchanged for freedom
along side of your own march for the same

one last waltz across Texas with you
I think I could learn to waltz
because I am gone crazy in three quater time
I love watlz music ever since I would fall asteep to the sound of it
Lying down on my bed of hale bales.
watching six elephants sway to the music
I have never tried to waltz
always a first time

There are 29 days between new moons,
a period set aside for observations of phenomena.
Or are there 29 nights between half moons,
a pause held in a time lag, semi-complete?

Or perhaps the facts are this.
There are 29 revolutions of the
satellite around the earth sandwiched
between wolf howls, each full moon
a marker on an astrophysical plane?

Does it matter?
There is no way to postpone advances
in molecular discovery. There is no way
to delay the arrival of a day; not by
physical models, not by theories regarding
galaxy formations!

Do not wait for answers which suggest
implicit truths, or implications of a ruse
within the analysis of the otherwise
obvious.

It is only necessary to rise, your eyes
open to horizon's frame beneath the sky,
accept your tiny space and fly,
menses released!

Dance to phantom rhythms!
Do not count on daylight or
midnight oil to burn! Bury
theories with yearn and purpose!

Free is a heartbeat, winged
like Mercury!

I would remain,
paid with stillness,
more than falsehood,
moved in the midst,

or so I believe..

physician heal thy self they say
and the doctor who treats himself has a fool for a patient
The Question of Lay Analysis
and unconscious misery becomes conscious
so many moons ago
I fell asleep at the wheel
now awake
and conscious that my miserable miseries are self inflicted melodrama

I love the moonlit night
but I love the dark nights even more

when moonlight does not hide the stars
moon struck by stars
the desert sky at night
my soul basks in their tender indifference
and while the moon circles the earth
and the earth circles the sun
and the solar system spirals through space
I hear a flute player standing on a lone star
and i am grateful for this life of mine.

poid in the void
I don't have A theory about THE Void
because I know it is a metaphor
for the all that can not be spoken of

and void is a word like soul
say it enough times and it don't mean nothing
and this means even less
void is a figment of my imagination
there are no empty spaces
a trick of the light
but some spaces are more beautiful
by the absence of man
and his so called civilization

May I, briefly, applaud this sense of urgency... for there is only so much time left to express it.

Minutes are detained
by still winds only long
enough to imitate a
photograph. Soon, the
time-lapse plays rapid
frames, and you, caught
up in the frenzy, attempt
a replay only moments
later.

as we speak
or as we write
we can't deny
the keystrokes
Mercury brings to mind Hermes and Hermes brings Hermeneutics
secrete words like Shazaam
and the best things that can't be spoken of
I used to be smart

nothing
I wonder?
nothing is nowhere
and no thing is now here
just random firing of nerve cells
random tippy tappy keystrokes
wow this looks a lot like words
i wonder what it means

when you waltz across texas
you want steel toes in your boots
I saw a rattlesnake hemisphere one time
it had eleven shakers in a row

I hesitate to mention Lau Tzu
and don't want to haggle about Hegel
or the cycles of the moon
take the existential cure

my love is manure
with a little purple mushroom
growing out, a pout
one universe in an omelette
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."
