abstraction easy to see
people drowing in painful memories
a flood of emotions in color splahes
maybe the red is knife slashes.
Morbid be my my abstract view
but the frantic strokes are my clue.

You’re drowning
And I’m waving—I’m walking away
I don’t want to know
I don’t wanna go there with you drunk.
When the bottle takes you
Grabs you
Drowns you
I wait for sleep
To take me, grab me, drown me;
I don’t wanna go there with you drunk.
And I’m wondering
Can there ever be understanding
While you drink the words away?
If I’m waving, you’re drowning,
And I’m crying out that you stop
I’m wondering if there can be a connection
Or did you drink that bridge away?

Under the bridge
washed away
drinking your words
to quinch my thirst
finding myself sober
in the epiphany
of understanding you
through words I drink
to quinch my thirst
as you're waving
to signal the flood has begun
to wash me away.

a mind wrapped too tight
explodes into pieces
believing sanity
is staight
and never creases
Come I'll prove it
catastrophe easy to see
in my mental state
of cosmic debris

a neon sign's
broken message
sprinkled atop
the jangled waves of a puddle
created from a single
harried and careless step
as he passed

Glimpses of falls reflections
Flowing swiftly down stream
Leaves of fire drowning
in cool blue strokes of time passing

gotta go
got to run
the jam has been fun
gotta go
gotta fly
time to say goodbye
for now the life abstract
calls with rituals
and circumstance
it was fun
it was great
it was a dance
in which to participate
here, there
and everywhere
'round the lovely studio 8

good day - good eve

abstracted
distracted
i must agree
the jam remains obliquely and utterly indescribable
