Lynne Cheney (Mrs Dick)

Mrs Dick had a book published in 1981, "Sisters" -

I did a search for this book and it is only available used... for $3,000.00!! A lot of money for a lesbian classic. Search out your used book stores... maybe it has been overlooked. hah!

Mrs. Dick was a Dyke?

see, i'm not the only one to switch sides!

my feminism professor said that she didn't make the switch until she was in her mid-30's. she called it 'the big kick-over.'

I don't know if she was/is a lesbian, altho her daughter definitely is. Mrs. Dick has written some books (see Amazon) and "Sisters" came out (no pun) in 1981, while she was still married.

An interesting side note... another publisher wanted to re-pub the book but her attorney would not allow it... this happened just a few months ago.

btw: nerve.com has a picture thing on its site referring to that book... you might be interested.

more interesting than that, it's posted on the whitehouse website and there's a link at the bottom that says, "email this page to your republican friends"

Dang it.. I thought I was gonna make some money on that link you offered... but it linked me to amazon and it is unavailable. I did go to a place called "bookfinder.com" and that's where it is selling for 3K from 3 different book selllers.

maybe somebody up north in a small obscure used bookstore may have it, eh?
