there are no hard feelings here Dav. Those women on litkicks and studio eight, they see right through me. Took a while before I could see through myself. Hester and me be old friends we love the same woman. The one with the scarlet letter.

Hester maybe I used the wrong emoticon
maybe the most appropriate one now is
I walked around all that time with my zipper down and never noticed.
Yes call me the litkicks flash.

the Cat is still prowling...as "I'mHep" on Litkicks Action Poetry and shows up elsewheres also. He is still writing some amazing stuff.

I miss Jay (jota) too! What a sweet, talented soul. Did he disappear into corporate America? Where is that guy? Does anyone have contact?

I miss bunches of people from the olden days. I hope they are well and still writing. They might not miss me.

Fortunately...I have managed to stay in touch with many far but near and dear.

Seems we have factions, borders, lines not to cross and that is very sad...and does not bode well for our sweet angry planet and own very survival.

(The human EGO is a nasty virus...and will, if not harnessed for good, be our downfall. Hah!)

Sorry, got carried away...

Father forgive us for what we must do,
You forgive us and we'll forgive you
We will forgive each other till we both turn blue
John Prine quoted from memory

Preacher Jack told me that all you got to do is say a couple of Hail Mary’s and write six haiku and you are forgiven.

Jota, I used to give him a headache I think, still had not broken loose from my Jesus freakness, I threw a couple of bricks at him, good christian that I was.

He has posted here once I think.

Well it rained in san antonio yesterday eight hundred accidents. Only 150 were serious though.

His Trashiness said:

You got that right Mr Scooter.

This is a double post from trailer park, because she is so vain.

Asphyxiate

Bourgeoisie

I was trying not to Asphyxiate on the word Abomination.

I was fixating on asphyxiation and abominations and Bourgeoisie. Three words I love because they are rock and roll to me.

That Hebrew bible so full of paradoxes.

I hear a smart man say that the bible is like the Norton Anthology of Literature. Now there is a man who must be a college professor. Too many days standing at his podium. Well

How the bible exists in the mind of a few enlightened intellectuals is not the question. You know that, I know that, even the liars who manipulate the True Believers know that. Facts don't count here. We are dealing with irrational masses. The ones who hold our destiny in their grubby little hands. That big hump in the middle of the bell curve, we are all of us in some ways part of that hump, we the readers of good books, shit call it what it is
The Bourgeoisie

We got this pecker head preachers raking in the dough and stoking up the flames to keep their undead voting in mass to swing the next election to the party of The Lord's Army. James Hagee did a lot of good for the lord last year, and made himself a cool two million doing it. I bet he loves his grandchildren but atrazine in the drinking water don’t bother him. Gay marriage is the issue number one.

And the Jews cast down the abomination on the mountaintops. Paraphrase of Joseph Campbell Love And The Goddess.

Mother Mary sings of an answer
An Answer to Job I suppose

Listen:
Abomination:
Don’t it make you want to rock and roll

Wow... I didn't expect for this to get so much play. I hadn't meant for it to be a heated discussion about whether or not the litkicks site is still worth it. I meant to spark your interest in the old threads. Many of us know each other from litkicks. That's how I met LRod and Doreen, the dolls. I was looking at some of their old posts, some of mine... remembering favorites like coke-line carl and 40 degrees. IT was a lot of fun just browsing those boards and reminiscing. That's what I wanted this post to be about. Stop trying to decide whether or not Levi did the right thing with the blog b/c we've got Studio Eight. We may not ALL be here, but we are here, some, and that is enough. So go google. Relive the gold. Forget the bullshit.

.

Snow leopard I was thinking about him
Cylance, Rain 70, jota, head burner. A lot of writers I miss, Hell I even miss me.

good point izzy.

I been going there a lot lately. But I try to avoid the front door. It creeps me out. Well not exactly creep, more like a feeling of impotence.

I suppose you mean 4 degrees? Yes he writes some cool stuff He is the guy that informed us that the anus is four degrees hotter than the vagina. Someday I may have a stroke, the upside might be that I will no longer remember stuff I would rather forget.

He still posts here.

This is a nice string has some good poetry between Bennie and GHC about half way down. Also Seajay who I liked a lot too. http://www.asheresque.com/BoardArchive/ ... ruary.html

that asheresque archives site is fascinating. There were some threads that will never again be seen except as archived graphic artforms.

Speaking of sex and women I wonder what ever happened to Teddie. That was a bad story a sad story she told. I hope she is okay.

she hasn't had a sex xhange. Though she does admit to being an 18 year old gay male trapped inside a thirty-something-year-old woman's body.

on the bright side, at least she knows who she is, even if it's in the wrong body
