Care to duet with Ann? - Ann & stilltrucking

Post by Ann Bingham » March 5th, 2006, 12:59 pm

a blank face stares back at me
somewhere on a beach
seagulls, and starfish
amid thundering thoughts

a waft of sea air
clears away rubbish
tranquil moments
all thought

It would honor me to walk the talk with you

Along the shore the debris of two thousand years of lies washes up like dead sea monsters.

The sound of the whispering murmuring sea, the cries of sea birds, a fresh breeze filling our lungs with life. A man and a woman leave foot prints on the wet sand and the warm water washes their feet. I

a walk along the beach of dreams
a foreshadowing of things to come
we'll talk of what ifs and maybes
simple things, like the air,
why do birds fly
and why can't we

the beach shall be our open road
endless as the numbers of sand
daylight bright, and moon filled nights
simple things, like the air we breath
and men having wings of steel
women wings of crystal

I do not know what men have except for the snails and nails and puppy dog tails. . I know that all I can do is bow to you and thank you for being a woman. It is a tough job but somebody has to do it.

But there si more to it than being a the mother of G-d.

still here

veteniary emergency
Change of plans

walking on dark on Cape Hateras, spiderwoman asked me if I was frieghtened of the dark mysteious ocean at our backs. i KNEW THAT FEAR of which she spoke, I remembered it from child hood.

ann I could put a lot of line breaks in here and call it poetry I suppose

one way to deal with the pity of punctuation I suppose.

So I was not afraid in the least, that dark ocean represented joy and mystery not fear.

But there was a stair way coming up from a funky smelling rat infested basement in baltimore that I used to fall up, becaise ehen he opened the trap door above my tomb I would run up those stairs with the feeling there were Monsters From The ID right behind me and gaining on me. They would grab me if I did not make it back to the daylight

So anyway I am relying on old memories for that feeling of a man and a woman walking on a beach at night.

and women wings of crystal
and steel, one prone to rust the other to cracks.

spontaneous but gently into a good night.
for as all true lovers know
true love is perfect kindness
