bury my mouth
in your sweet stem
inhale bliss
tulips

exhale lovebury my mouth
in your sweet stem
inhale bliss
lapping dewy eyed
flesh exaggerates
tulips
two lips
one mouth
one hungry mouth
flesh exaggerates
and oh the exaggeration
flabbergasts
even me
mostly me
I toast
I cheer
I exacerbate delirium
come
come
delicious lips
bright as plums
flower
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Survival is latent in the species
It is no bland talisman
I brandish the lilac and the primrose
And thumb my nose at the usual blossoms
I look at it as missionary work
Gross fulfillments in plaster casts
Lymphocytes and chloroplasts
Life in small doses, discrete and ruptured
And if I’m abrupt and pointed
The feet are washed, the brow anointed
The tulip tilted, dipped in mercury
Slides on glass abandoned
My vocation is Aladdin’s
To rub the lamp and wish on immortality
To stroke the brass and greet the genie
Be tormented by my wishes
Silver fishes devour my dreams
Like a crack-pot journalist high on syndication
I seek my fond sedation in the
Curve of your eyebrows.
