Yes, much better!

Could you email it to me, please?

I tried to download it from here but somehow it says the image is 72dpi still and I need it 300dpi.

thanks, jimbo!

here are my submissions:

A New Road
Thursday, August 10th, 2006

i found a new road today
it took me far away
i followed everything i saw everywhere
cross the rivers
cross the fields
over mountaintops
and parking lots
through muddened footprints
i did drag
my sore and sorry ass along
the new road that i found today

if you see me
from the road you’re on
make a whistle
shout a call
i got fantastic stories
from this road i can recall
against the dock uprights i stood
and felt the texture of my palm
my hands are rotten, hard and old
my shoes are torn and need re-soled
the shirt i washed today
won’t make it thru the day
if i catch those bastards on this path
i’ll shoot every one of em down
i’ll take a piece of every one
and hang it on some old church wall
i’ll cut a piece of every cloth
and box it all up for sale
someone’s gonna find me
on this road i’m on
someone’s gonna tell me
that some kind of sort of bridge is out
someone’s gotta shout at me
about the new road i’m on
but i cant hear
anymore fear
i cant see
anymore me
i cant feel
anymore steel
i cant smell
anymore hell
on this new road i’ve found

At Rest
Saturday, August 26th, 2006

coffee cup tipped over to the east
soles undone, ripped up, thrown down
i’m an armored car, i’m a weathered beast
ringing in the bell towers
everywhere i go
ringing in the lighthouses
seashores open doors
little lemonade stands gathering steel
dead brush in the backyard
everybody gather up
and go

A Poem For an Indiana Girl
Friday, June 2nd, 2006

you better come on over and give me a kiss
i’ll never keep you waiting when we both got all of this
market square could never hold you
the cornfields could never try
some distant creeping warm front
is like a twister in my eye
violent winds and scurvy fins
against the punk rock trees
stir up gutsy trav’ling plans
and bust the bastards at their knees
the balls we had to jump
to get into all this peace,
the frights we had to face
were nothing like the crease
in the corner of your mouth
when you speak those strings of words
that rush like the mississippi feeders
we crossed
in this storm of madness
theres nothing softer than the riverbeds
we found.
and the mouth and the eyes and the everything else,
all those things that feed the guts of it,
it’s all there for everyone to see,
but only us to know,
and that kicks my ass every day, with pleasure all around.
i finally found that big sky country.
and knowing i'm so eager to fight cant make letting me in any easier.

Good use of line, Jim, and close, successful observation.

Better even than those two things: a fine composition.
