General speak in
Pouring down rain here. Last night it was windier than shit. This dinky little duplex I live in was moving. We, the cat and I, huddled on the couch watching the lights flicker and listening for trees snapping. My plan was to dive underneath the coffee table if I heard one. Protect my head.
Speaking of my head, it seems to have reappeared up from out of the sand. I think my daughter's going away to school really threw me. Seems like the fact that I am freer now took awhile to accept. I no longer need, or really want, to be where I am.
So where does one go from here? Currently that, is the question I've no answer for.
I sure am glad those Democrats are back in. Al Franken called it a "national intervention". I feel more hopeful, not necessarily about the dems, but more about the change of guard.
Sometimes the circles turn so slow....
What's up with you?
join in on the general speak in.

I had a psychotic episode with an artman painting called traces.
Had my nose almost up to the monitor seeing all sorts of interesting microcosmic pictographs, or maybe in was Greek letters, like a dam highway hypnotic halucination. I had to check myself into an art museum.
I feel like I am going to die if I don't dip my tootsies into the ocean. Got it all planed for new years, going down to the third coast of the usa.
glad to hear you doing better.

very hot here, very windy (north wind "the wind or the locos"), very sunny (but storms for tomorrow).
maybe too much work (well..., last month of school with the whole 63 kids).
I have to do a medical study today then go to a curso and then save and send some texts to doreen.
It's nice to hear about you again, hester!
saludos,
Arcadia

cloudy, very hot and humid today, storm somewhere else at the moment!
I did the studies yesterday, all ok, only a functional quiste that insist to appear again from time to time.
The curso was a presentation for material about history, culture and geography of Santa Fe. I liked the book, interesting perspective.I also realized that I had already read material written by one of the authors before.
And I still have to send the texts to doreen!

it was really escatologic: already night at 5:30 PM, winds of 115 km per hour (I know.., we are not acostumbrados to that), ten minutes of icy stones of 10 centimetres of diameter falling from the sky... I've never seen that before. All the persianas and the vidrios of the city facing the south west are broken. Techos de chapa broken or abollados... (the roof’s tejas of my old house were broken too, so the rain entered the house) cars, well..., the streets were paved at early morning with the green or the trees and the broken glasses. Two days without school because we don't have electric light .We went anyway to try to help with the damages: we coudn't do very much.. Now the sun is shining again among heavy clouds.

piquetes all over the city, people from the poorest places (most of them with inutilizados roofs and with all the inside/things also inutilizadas because the water) asking help from the city, province and national governments. In some neighborhoods were rumors of possible "saqueos"...the funcionarios answer quickly (at least in the media), well, we are already in an election year... but it seems the (some) help is really coming to the people and that's good in this emergency moment.
