when conception was immaculate
and we had not settled our accounts with reality

when we could see with the eyes of a child
and anything was possible

ave maria
meets the nutcracker suite

I never seem to get the spirit of christmas until midnight tonight.

santa clauses dance the central bus station
all alight with batteries and tinsel
plastic trees complete the scene
spray-on pine for that added something

it ain't easy bringing Christmas into Tel Aviv
but it's happening right now, today
deck the fields with storks and seaweed
hot apple cider, minted lemonade

back to school, holiday on ice
rollin over untold territory
a cranky heater warms a mid-winter memory

back to school without the kids on tuesday
to act more like an accountant or like a lawyer than like a teacher...
three days that are felt like out of the calendar and that they are usually filled with shit
well, only three blank/round days
let's see what happens with them this year..!
mmm...but that will be probably on tuesday...
nochebuena tonight
silent heavy cloudy midday meanwhile
(I have still have to wrapped some gifts
I already bought the paper but I realize I don't have cinta scotch...!)

I was thinking it was mid winter too
BUt it is really just begining here
but it will be mid winter here in february
February will always be the dead of winter for me
there is no hope in february
except...

Meanwhile nothing is moving
not even a pekineese
but he bit the hell out of me again last night
and I fell asleep with the christmas mass playing on tv
now my hand hurts so does my head

bah humbug
I can't face christmas with the jesus freaks today.
unharden my heart
take this chip from my shoulder
I might as well be from a planet orbiting Betelgeuse
cause I feel so alienated from this thing called christmas
but not christ
I feel no presence of christ in this thing called christmas

memories of a wood stove and watching the candles flicker
brings back warm memories of childhood
strong enough to more than balance off the memories of horror

meanwhile austin city limits is on now and
los lonely boys doing me more good than the christmas mass.

Don't tell me how to live my life
Don't tell me how to pray
Don't tell me how to sing my song
Don't tell me what to say
Cuz I believe that miracles
happen every day
I don't care what you say,
I'm gonna do it my way
I'm gonna do it my way
What'd you say

Happy birthday baby jesus
I will think of you in the spring
when the lambs are born.

lambs
I felt guilty all the way crossing the Patagonia
but I delicious eat them anyway...
last night there were more natural thunders and strikes
than artificial ones
but the kids were shiny happy the same
Santa Claus was very busy because the rain
(only touched the ringbell and left the presents)
that was good
because Bruno was already asking
why the school Papá Noel was different from the one in the shopping...
I remember when I was a kid
that a friend told me that the baby Jesus and not Papá Noel
was the one that had bring her the regalos
I thought it was weird
a baby carrying heavy weights?
it sounded not verosimil
that was perfect for an old big healthy man
that works hard only one day per year
not for a baby...!!!
happy, happy Christmas for all of you!!!

Last night an old man with white hair
and a beard flew around the sky in a
strange-looking chariot pulled by flying deer.
This morning, he became a baby and was
reborn to a woman who never had sex
in her entire life in a stable somewhere
surrounded by a lot of animals,
2 of a kind and now it's raining cats
and dogs.

Mythtical.

I'm gonna be a rock'n'roll star!
Da man got me a bass guitar!
All I need is a strap
and to learn how to slap!
(But so far, it sounds like crap!)
