I'm thankful I'm not a turkey
at least not of the fowl kind
though I've been basted
tasted
diced
spiced
turned into soup
and finally tossed aside
with an appreciative burp
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

friends
usurpers of the solitary life
swooping in
sweeping out
dusting all the moldy places
fresh air gulped

to friends
may they never bow solemnly to our wisdom
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

feed your own need right
that's what it's all about
reach down deep
soothe
mollify
for who
if not you
will instantly gratify
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

there's life in a whole
in the wall, a mouse popping out,
cat's no longer got her tongue,
and we're young as the hour when
when we awoke, a token dream,
a seam into the fabric, all sewn together,
somehow stitched,
though without a clue of
recompensation or honor,
or why the stove is sometimes colder,
sometimes hotter, sometimes kitty-cornered,
sometimes hated,
oh my god, i'm glad
i waited

grateful for a pique
into your eyes

in my constancy
I found the silence to sustain
delved deep resurfaced again
the intimacy
the ultimate self love
ingrained non-quitter
non sequitur
I maintain
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!

plastic stars illume
bedroom eyes on overload
how sad the toad that goads
and makes a lie
twisted tongues fight
and trysts find no time
love sublime has no hold
and "all the world's a stage"
and we
just growing old
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

my dreams have left town
gone fishin
taken their scintillatin details
to greener pastures
and swollen brooks
makin out in fields of clover
so sweet, they're never coming back
leavin me bereft
not a fantasy in sight
lucky i got curtis mayfield to disco me political
i'll dance world peace
till reality turns around

jamathon
grateful on,
appetite gone,
turkey pawn,
pot-belly dawn,
frost on the lawn,
may our thankful hearts,
carry on, carry on.

instant gratification opposed to compromise?
I don´t know..., maybe
maybe in certain circumstances
maybe is all a cuestión de actitud
-as Fito said-

I woke up with someone hammering
the building somewhere near 7 am
and here I am, making mate
and smiling about yesterday
let´s go!

I woke up from a dream about ducks this morning
and my father spoke to me of Cain and Abel
and instant gratification.
so I googled Cain + Abel + Instant Gratification

I suggest that Cain’s actions imply a vastly inflated sense of entitlement, and that he is quick to attack those who in any way threaten this. He is not interested in ‘learning’; his primary interest is the instant gratification of his inflated sense of self-importance, thus God’s advice falls upon ears which were already deaf to advice in general.

I have deleted this post twice
because it seems so off topic

I have never had a dream
that I was not grateful for.
