physics tells the same old story
of love and glory
as time goes by
I can hear the melody
a syncopated clock
I am living on the ceiling
climbing the walls
gravity denied
fly me to the moon
the words pay the piper
jaming with you makes me want to dance

i am so grateful for gravity these days
if not for gravity
I would fly away to the instant gratutious gratification of my
death wish
that don't make no sense
death is the last thing on my mind
it all about longing for life

'after all these years I am still alive
cut me loose let me fly" jitterbug

it keeps my feet on the ground
good old gravity
thank you
morning becomes swiss cheese and coffee

i am grateful for the age that has subdued my instant gratification of striking out in anger, a death wish abides within me, peacefully
Grateful that the rage is gone
What I have not been able to do for myself
time has kindly done

There are daze when want gets ahead of me and I want it all now...just not sure what "it all" is...maybe wanting it all means wanting less than what I have....simplicity is a conundrum....

to honor the ancesters
with today's blues
a streak of hues
from light to dark
a baby at heart
old and broken
time for the sTreet
stuttering complete schisma
a look of fantasma
as left begets right
a protest night
in old st pete
while healing from wounds
and striking new ones
without complaint
the situation's complete

when i win th lottery i am gonna buy a jimmy buffet amphibian
like the one they got turned into a bar at universal studios
so i can waste away in margaritaville and
someday fly there
i wanna pound of pot to smoke it until the sea rises to meet my door
so i can float my plane beside the house
and split for neverneverland
whenever i want
my fantasy's easy to make
and then i wanna fake the rest
before i crash flaming out
engines idle
nose down
press the button
wait for a spark
wait wait wait
wait for the kinchasa lotto
an hope the rpm picks up
an if it don't
ya can watch the ground come up
or ya can eject
and feel the blast
as fast air rushes past
and 14000 feet comes up too soon
and your seat becomes a water balloon
an ya floats down into the tepid seas
and waits and waits for eternity
an look at catalogues in yer head
i wanna one more thing
an then yer awash with barnicles
and turned into seagull shit
one more for th road
