none of them Nazified as stilltru' misleadingly suggests with his Heidegger-comment.
don't pull that panglossian stuff on me dude

You can't read moch about anything really hip these days with out running in to heidegger.

Just another snare and delusion for me

I got a semicolon laying aroundsomewhereinherebetween the space bar and the ctrl key:

Po Mo is a bourgequise plot to ensmare us college sophomores into voting for new gingrich

Where is boho and why are we doing this?

PoMo I am not; E-pup's pomo. Bertrand Russell, no pomo either, may have made some errors but he rejected the siren songs of both fascism and communism.

There are sort of leftist and rightist varieties of PoMo though (some say Nietzsche was postmodernist--or even Mailer). The GOP I've never been in either. But given a choice of Hitllary or Ghouliani flip a coin: both are Snitchocrats.

pardon my grammar. i meant that many postmodernists, like many non-postmodernists including T-k, are anticommie.

i may be poMO, but i'm also anti-anti-commie.

give Peace a chant.

i'm also anti-anti-commie.
Negated negation? Thus you are a commie.

I read Marx, and while I don't agree with everything he barked (class struggle itself dubious as some "necessary" argument--and it's not only conservatives who have said that), I dont' think KM would have even approved of the bolsheviks: or one hopes he wouldn't have. Whatevs. More anti-ideology in a sense rather than anti-red. Marx hisself was no peacenik was he.

too much Russell, better study Hegel.

double negation diffrent than thesis.

enemy o' m' enemi ain't necessarily m' friend.

Neither Bush nor BinLardon.

that said, i more pro commie than anti-commie. Viva Che! Viva Marxismo!
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.

Oh really?

I wonder what happened to my sarcasm.

You another book that nobody is interested in anymore is
The Human Use of Human Beings.
"When we arm ourselves, we arm our enemies."

Only place you hear Weiner's name mentioned anymore is in reference to Cybertext.

sarchasmsar·chasm ('sär-"ka-z&m) : The giant gulf (chasm) between what is said and the person who doesn't get it

You are dealing with an idiot here. Was it irony?
Thanks

The Humor of Christ, by elton trueblood. Quaker propaganda maybe, but he talked about Christ's use of irony. I am still unclear on. But it is another book that got away from me like The Blue Book and a little book about the difference between the Greek and Hebrew concept of time. I remember the author saying that the Greeks devoloped historical science and the Hebrews historical religion. Something like that. But there is a big difference between the Greeks conception of time and the Hebrews.
moron that later.

Another book you might not be interested in is
The Human Use of Human Beings. Norbet Weiner.

"Hey, guys, you know all that shit I was saying about being the Truth, and the Son of God? I was just kidding. You fell for it! .... uh, guys, what are you doing with that large wooden cross? This is, like, prop humour. Right? Carrot-top bit? Guys...?"

I am post modernist in the sense that i reach back into pagan pre-modern spirituality

an ecological spirituality

and some anti-war veterans were/were also anti-communist

as for me, i never thought of the vietnamese as my enemies
what gets me is how brainwashed people are
i wonder what i will meet up with at the highschool

after reading what i have about mailer, i may peruse the armies of th night
but not all that ambitious

why did he stab his wife?

Bad joke from Bob Hope ( circa 1968):

BH: Y'know folks, I ran into a Jesus-freak on the street the other day-- he broke into a broad grin and shouted:

"JESUS IS COMING BROTHER!!"

I looked at him and said:

"I guess you haven't heard the good news and the bad news . . ."

(BH continues)

"Jesus is coming. But he's really pissed off . . ."

jesus IS coming
he's a mexican
he's got a big heart

makes you wonder about norman mailer's intellectual prowess
worthless without a spark of soul

when i was in rotc at michigan, in the late sixties,
when bob hope came for a concert
there were protestors
they carried signs that read
"where there's hope there's death"

no wonder i turned out maladjusted

in 1985, when in shreveport, la
the independence bowl honored the vietnam veterans
i wore my vet center baseball hat
because i was into healing beyond political opinions
acceptance and welcoming home

bob hope was there to help present the award
before the football game he gave some of us a private audience
in some underground cement room
it was dark, he was by a light
and he told several jokes to applause and laughter
then he told the one about the three legged chicken
there was a deathlike silence
except for me
i laughed as hard as i could
haw haw haw haw
then there was more silence
bob looked straight at me with a disdainful sneer
i'll never forget

nothing like canned humor
edog's got him beat hands down

oh yeah
during half-time, a double amputee marine in his uniform
accepted the award from bob
and all we veterans joined hands and raised them up in unity
except at the left end of the line were the black vets
i was next to the last white guy
he had a red beard
he was unable to clasp hands with the black vets
i saw them kind of huddle together alone at the end of the line
so they had to bear this burden one more time

ah yes a night of bob hope and rascism
welcome home
